If you want to learn how to play 5 string banjo
or want to have the option to plug in for performance, the Morgan Monroe
MB-100E is a great place to start. This banjo has features that are
typically only found in banjos costing much more, such as planetary
tuning machines (a must for bluegrass) a multi ply mahogany rim, geared
5th peg and mother of pearl inlay on a rosewood fret board. Plus when
you have a banjo with a real wood rim 18 brackets is plenty to keep your
genuine Remo head in tension so that you can get all the pop that you
need from the rosewood tipped maple bridge.

When it comes to the
electronics, the MB-100E features the MPM-1 magnetic internal banjo
pickup features a large contact are to engage more of the banjo head
& give you a noticeably bigger tone. Unlike transducer pickups, the
MPM-1 is super quiet, eliminates handling noise from head contact &
features an adjustable mounting bracket that gives you the ability to
position it anywhere on the coordinator rod for your own preferred
pickup placement. The Morgan Monroe MB-100E is built to last a lifetime
and features a written warranty that says the same!
