A massively capable miniature microphoneIt may not
be much bigger than a typical lavalier mic, but the X-Y stereo condenser
microphone included in the MicW iGoMic Kit does a simply incredible job
of capturing a wide stereo field. It's internally shock mounted too, so
handling noise is minimal too, which is a real bonus in most situations
you'll want to use a GoPro. And while the iGoMic Kit isn't exactly
waterproof, it'll easily withstand any conditions your GoPro can handle
if it's in a housing that will let you connect it.


Conveniently mounts right to your GoPro HEROIn many
cases, using an external microphone with your GoPro HERO video camera
isn't as easy as you think. You get a GoPro 3.5mm Mic Cable, the right
adapters, and then suddenly you've got a heavy microphone and a pile of
hardware you need to mount somewhere. It's both a pain and it limits
your mobility. MicW figured out an ingenious solution for the iGoMic
Kit, a special attachment for the thumb screw for your GoPro rig, which
includes a rubber mounting ring built into the end. This both attaches
the iGoMic Kit's X-Y stereo mic right to your GoPro and adds additional
suspension, providing both convenience and additional sound quality.
