Included in this package is the Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 Audio Interface, a pair of M-Audio BX5 D2 studio monitors, an MXL 990 condenser microphone, and all the accessories and cables you need to get set up.

Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 Audio Interface
At the heart of 18i8 is a set of four Focusrite mic preamps with up to 60dB gain, designed specifically for Focusrite’s computer audio interfaces. The first two offer Mic/Line/Instrument on universal XLR/TRS connectors while 3 and 4 offer Mic/Line capability on universal XLRs – all four on the front panel with pads and 48V phantom power. Four more line inputs are provided on TRS connectors. An ADAT optical digital connector provides eight additional digital inputs that can also be used with external mic preamps like Focusrite's OctoPre Mk II to increase the number of mic inputs the 18i8 can handle to 12. A stereo S/PDIF coaxial input is also included.

M-Audio BX5 D2 Studio Monitors
The BX Series studio monitors from M-Audio are a trusted set of nearfield speakers in home and project studios around the world. The next-generation BX5 D2 monitors features a bi-amplified design with 70 watts of distributed power, 5” low frequency drivers with Kevlar cones, 1” high-frequency drivers with natural silk domes and integrated waveguides, and optimized rear ports for an extended low-frequency response. MXL 990 Condenser Studio Microphone with Shockmount
The MXL 990 Condenser Microphone with shock mount has a silky, sweet high end while retaining tight, solid low and midrange reproduction. The 3/4" gold-sputtered diaphragm creates a professional sound suited for digital and analog recording. Attractive vintage body style with champagne finish. The 30Hz-20kHz frequency response is ideal for lead and background vocal, male or female. Includes custom shock mount, mic stand adapter, and case. Remember folks, this mic requires phantom power, so make sure your console or interface delivers it before ordering.
