The 65amps Producer EL tube amplifier head is based around a
unique transformer that's designed to make modern tubes sound just as
good as older tubes, if not better. Instead of copying classic circuit
designs, which can be downright dangerous, 65amps worked with Mercury
Magnetics to create a new transformer for the Producer EL that gives
your tubes a longer, more reliable lifespan. The tone is amazing, too,
from sweet cleans to rockin' distortion. And thanks to its proprietary
Master Voltage circuit, you can play the 65amps Producer EL tube amp
head as loud or as quiet as you like without sacrificing tone.

Custom transformer enhances your tubes' performance65amps
created a custom transformer for the Producer EL tube amp, with the
goal of making modern tubes sound more like "vintage" tubes. A nice
benefit of this is that the tubes run more reliably and don't need to be
replaced as often as other amps require. So the Producer EL gives you
the sound of a classic '60s amp, with modern reliability and
performance.


Bump control gives you two distinct voices for each channelThe
Producer EL is a 2-channel amp, with a Bump control on each channel
that gives you more voicing options. Here's how 65amps describes this
feature: "The Bump allows the user gain-up and re-slope the amp's tone
stack, allowing much more midrange to flow through the circuit; thereby
gaining up the entire amp naturally and not inducing false preamp gain
that creates fizz and buzz." So it's kind of like kicking on an
overdrive pedal and kind of like a midrange boost. With two channels
plus the Producer EL's Bump switches, you have access to four distinct
voices at any time.


Master Voltage control lets you cut volume, without killing toneThanks
to the Producer EL guitar amplifier head's Master Voltage control, you
can get the output volume you need, without sacrificing the tone or feel
of your amp. As opposed to many in-amp voltage-reduction systems, which
simply starve the power tubes, the Producer EL's Master Voltage control
preserves the internal tube relationships while maintaining the proper
filament voltage. This unique approach to voltage control lets you pull
your output power all the way down to 3W, without either jeopardizing
your sound or dynamics, providing you with ideal note-for-note
articulation at whatever volume you need.
