We’ve all had them. With the Dirty Idea we just put them into audible sound. We wanted to make a really solid overdrive with a wide range. We started with an op-amp, a classic ingredient to overdrives, and built from there. What we ended up with is the product of a lot of research to combine versatility and a solid overdrive tone. With the Dirty Idea, you can get a bit of grit - like an amp pushed into breakup, all the way to thick, heavy distortion - with everything in between. Like all Noisemaker Effects products, the Dirty Idea is hand made from high quality parts, including Neutrik Jacks, a heavy duty 3PDT footswitch for true-bypass switching, and Alpha Pots.
