Akai Professional RPM800

The RPM800 Bi-Amplified Studio Monitor with Proximity Control from Akai Professional is a Class A/B amplified studio monitor that is capable of 120W of output. It features a 8" Kevlar low-frequency driver, and a 1.25" voice coil as well. For proper sonic performance regardless of your room, the RPM800 has a high-frequency trim, a mid-frequency boost, and low-frequency cutoff that allow you to tune the monitor to fit its environment.


The monitor's cabinet features a design to reduce flex and coloration, so your sound is accurate and true to the source. The amplifier is recessed and is connected to the drivers with 14-gauge wire connecting it to the speakers. For protection, there is an output current limiter, an over-temperature limiter, and a subsonic filter. A monitor isolation pad is included for decoupling.
