The GNI PHD Hot Drive is the perfect mid-gain overdrive pedal for the
serious player looking to keep a small pedal board. Built in the same
tiny metal enclosure as the rest of the Pocket Pedal series, the GNI PHD
Hot Drive provides rich, smooth overdrive that is perfect for heavy
blues and rock as well as indy rock and a host of other applications.
When the Drive control is backed off, the GNI PHD Hot Drive breathes
nicely with a dynamic overdrive tone perfect for the volume knob player
or hybrid picker. When cranked up, the GNI PHD Hot Drive smoothes out to
an almost liquid feel providing compression and sustain that will make
any soloist happy. The GNI PHD Hot Drive features more tone than size,
just the way we like it.
