The Reverend Club King 290 is a unique instrument designed with the blues/rock player in mind. The Reverend Club King 290 features a semi-hollow korina body that was routed from a single slab and capped with a spruce top as well as a bolt-on maple neck for a unique tone that is lively and touch sensitive with tons of resonance and sustain. The Reverend P-90 pickups are calibrated for output, the bridge is wound slightly hotter than a vintage soapbar, the neck slightly cleaner. The Reverend Club King 290 also features a longer 25.5 scale that brings more clarity and percussive tone to the resonance of a semi-hollow for a truly unique tone that is warm and rich with a big bottom end, thick midrange and lovely high end that is made for overdriving. Like all Reverend guitars the Club King 290 also features the Bass Contour control adding a variety of tonal options available.
