The Ovation Standard Elite 6868 AX Acoustic Guitar opens the door to the world of the big Ovation sound without sacrificing any of the essential, unique features. With carefully chosen solid Spruce tops, inlaid epaulets, die-cast chrome tuning machines, and satin finish neck, the Standard Elite sets a new standard for Ovation at the mid-price level.

This Ovation Standard Elite Guitar features a super-shallow cutaway bowl, the famous multi-sound hole technology, and modified bracing to maximize acoustic response. This acoustic-electric crossover starts with a solid spruce top for full-balanced tone and a natural beauty. Scalloped X-bracing offers a fine tune for the instrument's tone. The rosewood fretboard and bridge add crisp, clear sustain to the guitar, so those notes can ring out long and true. The rosette features an inlaid mixture of exotic woods that benefits the tone and will pique the interest of your crowd, appreciating this Ovation guitar's inlaid beauty. Chrome tuning machines, pearl-dot diamond inlays and a satin burst finish dresses the guitar in beauty. At the heart of the Standard Elite 6868 AX lies the impressive OP-PRO preamp system that has made Ovation a household name.
