The Limited-edition 30th Anniversary Northwest Classic Concert is made with master-grade tonewoods. The highly figured myrtlewood is topped with AAA Sitka spruce. Myrtlewood, Breedlove’s signature tonewood, is incredibly versatile. When played, it blends the best qualities of rosewood, mahogany, and maple into a single nuanced tone. After the braces are attached, highly skilled luthiers use soft felt mallets, microphones, and specialized computer software to analyze the frequency response of the top and back. From here, the same luthier voices the bracing by hand, targeting specific frequencies along the way.
