The Kawai ES100 provides authentic piano tones for a price that's considerably less than other pianos in its class. The ES100 combines a top quality graded hammer key action and 88-note piano sampling to offer an incredibly realistic piano experience in a low cost, portable instrument. There are 19 unique sounds including acoustic pianos, electric pianos, organs, strings and more, that can be combined to create full and lush soundscapes or split on the keyboard for additional expression. The ES100 features 182-note polyphony, both dual and split modes, built-in Alfred piano lessons, built-in stereo speakers, a record function and more. Kawai's Harmonic Imaging with 88 key sampling delivers an incredibly realistic piano sound that's usually found only on considerably more expensive models. Tone The ES100 utilizes Kawai’s acclaimed Harmonic Imaging Sound Technology, featuring 88-key piano sampling, to create its impressive piano sound. Touch The feel of the ES100 is outstanding, thanks to the Advanced Hammer Action IV (AHAIV-F), an 88-note, graded hammer action with superb feel and sensitivity. Dual and Split Modes The ES100 has a Dual Mode in which two sounds are played at the same time. With the Split function, one sound is assigned to the left side of the keyboard while another sound is assigned to the right side. Registrations Save your favorite sounds and setting into one of four registrations (memories) for instant recall at any time. Quality Damper Pedal The ES100 features a piano-like damper pedal with half-damper capability, a quality feature not found with most budget digital pianos. Metronome The ES100 offers a handy built-in digital metronome with a variety of time signatures and adjustable tempo… perfect for practice. 100 Drum Rhythms Additionally, 100 drum rhythms in a variety of musical styles are offered with the metronome feature. Alfred Lesson Songs The ES100 features lesson songs from Alfred Publishing’s most popular first-year children’s method book. Recorder The ES100 offers an easy to use 3-Song built-in Recorder, ideal for self-evaluation or capturing a moment of inspiration. Jacks The ES100 comes with MIDI jacks useful for connecting with other musical instruments and computer, plus two headphone jacks that allow a teacher, parent or duet partner to listen in.
