Crafted in Meridian, Mississippi
For decades, Peavey boasted a great reputation for creating fantastic-quality electric guitars that were designed and made right here in the US. From this solidbody electric guitar's top-quality tonewoods to its custom-wound pickups, everything about this instrument was created in Meridian, Mississippi. Finely tuned construction
One of the first things you'll notice upon laying your eyes on the HP2 is its use of stunning tonewoods. The guitar's balanced-sounding basswood body is ornamented with a breathtaking figured maple top that features a seductive carve. The body transitions seamlessly — thanks to the guitar's sculpted neck heel — into one of the most comfortable bird's-eye maple necks in the business. And appointments such as graphite reinforcement, a 15" fingerboard radius, and an easy-access truss rod only serve to illustrate this guitar's pedigree.




Versatile voice with a bold personality
From the moment you plug in your Peavey HP2 solidbody electric guitar, it is primed to deliver liquid-sounding high-gain tones that will sing and cut just the way you like. The guitar's custom-wound humbucking pickups display a full-throated tone with plenty of output for punching the front end of your amp. But pull up on one of the push-pull tone and volume controls, and you'll instantly access the bell-like character of a great single-coil pickup.
