Rhapsodizing About Bohemians
The latest run of SGs from the Gibson Custom Shop have arrived, and they are some of the leanest, meanest rock and roll machines that have ever come through the doors of Wildwood Guitars! Thanks to a design aesthetic that borrows heavily from the bohemian art and dress of the 1920s, these SGs sport a stripped-down, earthy look that's sure to impress at the gig or the jam. They sound just as impressive as they look, too, because they come equipped with some KILLER Super '74 humbuckers. If you're not familiar, the Super '74s are the same pickups Gibson put in the Randy Rhoads Les Paul Custom; in other words, they're slightly underwound PAFs with Alnico 3 magnets and a SERIOUSLY bad attitude. When you combine the pickups' snarling rock energy with the resonant mahogany bodies and necks (attached with hot hide glue, just like in the old days), you get endless sustain and huge sound! It also comes equipped with Grover tuners, so it will stay in tune forever. It all comes wrapped up in a sweet black Gibson Custom hardshell case, too, because you've gotta keep a guitar that looks this good safe!
