Iron Label, the Ibanez made-for-metal series, continues its thunderous offensive on the metal guitar market as its single-cutaway down-tunable wonder, the ARZ, joins the Iron Label. The ARZ series features a sleek, single cutaway design and 24-fret, ultra-comfort set-in neck with smooth heel, designed for metal music. With its longer 25 scale length, the ARZ Series was developed for down tuning, and a natural for the Iron Label treatment. As the leader in 7-string guitar development, maximizing the sonic gravitas of the ARZ Series with an 8th string was purely a matter of simple evolution for Ibanez. The ARZIR28 features 5-piece mahogany/walnut ARZ-8 set-in neck, mahogany body, medium frets, and the Full Tune III bridge for superior intonation and sustain. Electronics include two EMG 808 pickups, specifically designed to beef up the low F while providing a more responsive, super-tight overall sound. The ARZIR28's high gloss finish, bound rosewood fingerboard, pearl/abalone block inlay, and Cosmo Black hardware, take the Iron Label series to a new level with a style of classic elegance.
