Here is one killer Esquire from the Fender Custom Shop...a '53 Two Pickup model with Twisted Tele pickups and roasted ash for the body along with a roasted quartersawn maple neck. The roasting process stabilizes the wood, as well as gives it some of the tonal characteristics that we love vintage guitars for. Add in the 9.5" radius with medium jumbo frets for a modern playability, and you've got an Esquire that exists in the best of both worlds! The guitar includes a black 1-ply pickguard should you want to convert the guitar to a classic single-pickup Esquire.
