Jackson even added in a momentary kill switch to the Pro Series DKA8 Dinky for creating stutter effects.

Jackson decided to load the Pro DKA8 Dinky with direct-mount Seymour Duncan Nazgul and Sentient humbucking pickups, giving you the output needed to push your amp hard but still retain string clarity. Why direct-mount the pickups? The guitar experts here at Sweetwater say that the thinking behind direct-mounting pickups (pickups screwed directly to the wood inside the cavity versus being suspended from mounting rings) is that the tonal transfer is stronger, resulting in a truer representation of the guitar's sound.




Speedy neck for fast fretboard runs
The Jackson Pro DKA8 Dinky features a 12"-16" compound-radius fretboard for ultimate playability. The fingerboard is rounder near the nut for easy chording and rhythm playing. As your playing heats up and moves up the fretboard, the radius flattens out for easier runs and big string bends. With a neck that plays this slick, you'll be up at the 24th fret before you know it.
