The Gibson Custom Shop's Artist in Residence James A. Willis has created a stunning trio of guitars inspired by one of the titans of American literature, Edgar Allan Poe. Evoking Poe's classic work "The Mask of the Red Death", this SG features incredible hand carving details that extend from the central character on the back of the guitar to the front. The face of the guitar features vines and flora growing into a beautiful presentation that captures the short story’s dark voice and shocking end. Each James A. Willis Edgar Allan Poe series guitar is a single run, one-of-a-kind instrument. These will not be produced again, so contact us today!
