Active pickups and preamp

The 55-02 Deluxe Skyline bass sports the same pickups and preamp found on the (much more expensive) 44-94. These active electronics give your instrument serious punch and added expression across the whole fingerboard. A dual-coil Lakland humbucking pickup in the bridge delivers fat, aggressive tones, while the Lakland J-style single-coil pickup in the neck position can get mellow and warm.
Ash and maple tonewood combination
