The NGDP, is designed to emulate vintage fuzz and overdrive pedals. It was inspired by the Seamoon Fresh Fuzz, but with some modifications for increased versatility, the most noticeable being an added circuit and control knob for adjusting the overall tone. The NGDP is a versatile and responsive pedal. The LEVEL, TONE, and DRIVE knobs are very receptive to even smalll increments of adjustment. Like the best vintage Class A amplifiers, each control has impact on the character and application of the others. PLat it with your amp clean, dirty, in between. Spend some time making small adjustments. You will find so many useable sounds depending on all the parameters. That being said, the NGDP will also sound horrible with some settings. You have been forewarned.
Each pedal is hand wired here in out factory. There are no pre printed circuit boards We are making batches of 25 units at a time and each batch will be a different color.
The LEVEL control is a 50k audio taoer potentiometer, and controls the overall output volume of the pedal. The TONE control is a 100k linear taper potentiometer, and controls the frequency contour of the pedal. From warm and tweedy smooth, all the way to biting, in-your-face brightness, ideally suited for leads. Many players may find yjere to be a notch, or sweet spot on the tone control, from about 11:00-1:00 as a clock stands. The GAIN control is a 50k audio taoer potentiometer, and controls the amount of gain produced by the pedal. From just a little "bark" , to super saturated fuzz.
