One of the finest Guild dreadnoughts ever made
The stunning Guild Orpheum Dreadnought is one of Guild's finest efforts. This gorgeous acoustic guitar's Adirondack red spruce top with scalloped red spruce bracing (mated to solid mahogany back and sides with traditional hot hide glue) projects full-bodied tone with a clear and powerful voice. In fact, it's a cannon (very loud but superbly balanced). It's a great choice for tracking in a thick mix, yet it sounds rich and full-bodied on its own. Just aim a small-diaphragm condenser mic at the 12th fret, and you're good to go.

Guild pulled out all the stops with the Orpheum Dreadnought. This superb acoustic guitar sports premium features such as a 2-piece mahogany neck with a comfortable soft-V profile and a lovely vintage-style nitrocellulose lacquer finish, a 20-fret ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays and an ideal 12" radius, a bone nut, and elegant cream neck and body binding.
The finishing touches
To complete this scintillating 6-string delight, Guild spec'd a tortoiseshell pickguard, a pyramid-style ebony bridge with bone saddle and pins, and Gotoh SE700-05M open-back tuners with cream buttons. Of course, to protect a guitar this glorious, you get a deluxe hardshell case. The Guild Orpheum Dreadnought acoustic guitar is one you really have to play.
