The Takamine TLD M2 acoustic-electric is designed around the popular OM body style. The OM offers a narrower waist and slightly thinner build than a dreadnought acoustic, resulting in its own distinct tone and feel. The TLD M2 Special Edition is crafted from tonewoods that are as breathtaking visually as they are tonally. The solid Sitka spruce top is an usually beautiful piece that rings true, clear, and powerful. And the mahogany neck is capped with a dark, smooth piece of ebony that will project each note with authority. But the crown jewels of the TLD M2 are its figured Oregon myrtle wood back and sides. Hidden discreetly inside the Takamine TLD M2 Special Edition's end pin is a TLD-2 Line Driver preamplifier.
