The Tone Monk Om Distortion is a stripped down Seed of Life crossed with a custom shop overdrive from Tone Monk called the “Claptin”. With simplicity in mind, the Tone Monk Om Distortion features standard controls for Input, Tone, and Gain but this pedal yields much more complex tones than the easy-to-use controls indicate. The Tone Monk Om Distortion goes from mild, sweet overdrive to face-melting distortion with the turn of the Gain knob while still maintaining the dynamic response and content a great tube amp is known for. Considered the “Path to Tonal Enlightenment” by Tone Monk, the Om Distortion is a must have for any guitarist.
