Granted, the extra-stout pole pieces and wide windings provided by this alnico pickup contribute a solid basis for your tone, but it's the StingRay 5 H's active preamp and 3-band EQ that really let you sculpt your sound. On top of that, the StingRay 5 H features a special 3-position switch that lets you choose from series-humbucking, single-coil, or parallel-humbucking modes for an even wider tonal palette.
