The tops on the Les Paul Redwood are made from ancient redwood trees that fell over a century ago. Though the guitar may be brand new, the natural age of this redwood helps the guitar react and sound like a great vintage instrument. The Redwood's body and neck are made from rich-looking mahogany. And the fretboard is a piece of sleek ironwood. This combination gives the guitar golden hues, while maintaining the aggressive midrange sound Les Paul's have always been known for.
