Among the key features of Orange's Dual Dark 100 guitar amplifier is a power attenuation feature and high-gain tones that reach deep into the earth-shattering lower frequencies. The amp's gain structure is similar to the popular Dark Terror amps. A two-channel design, the Dual Dark can achieve somewhat equal amounts of saturation with each channel. Gain can be tempered to produce tones ranging from classic British crunch (the amp uses four EL34 tubes) to modern high gain. Output is 100 watts and power tubes can be changed to 6L6 or similar types. Other features include an effects loop, footswitchable channel selection (footswitch included), and a low-impedance effects loop.
