The Music Zoo is very proud to be a Dean Gordon Guitars dealer. Dean Gordon is a new and exciting young luthier from New York City who builds his instruments at his shop in Queens. The designs are familiar, but also very futuristic and forward thinking, combining exotic tonewoods with a hand-shaped 5052 Aircraft grade aluminum lower horn that makes for a very comfortable playing experience when sitting down. This model is the Mirus, with a gorgeous Ivory gloss top finish over a one piece open pore finished mahogany body, mahogany neck, and a cool Brazilian walnut fingerboard that was sourced from the Coney Island boardwalk after Hurricane Sandy. It's loaded with two custom McNelly humbuckers, a fixed Hipshot bridge, and Hipshot locking tuners.
