The Taylor 712e Rosewood/Spruce Grand Concert Acoustic-Electric Guitar has an Engelmann spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. The Taylor Expression System provides the perfect conduit for amplifying this Grand Concert's intimate yet full sound. Plugged in or not, this rosewood guitar will fill the room with strong bass response and amazing projection. It also features ivoroid binding, mother-of-pearl dot inlays and abalone rosette that make this Taylor a timeless statement of tone and taste. Indian Rosewood/Engelmann The warm, responsive tone of Engelmann spruce enhances the rich, full overtones of Indian rosewood in this classic tonewood pairing. Grand Concert (GC) This shape defines intimacy in its size and sound. The GC is dynamically responsive to a lighter touch and is well-suited for fingerpicking. With clarity and balance, it’s also perfect for mic’ing and home recording. Expression System® Using proprietary pickup technology developed at Taylor, the Expression System® amplifies your guitar with an unrivaled, natural live sound. Onboard tone controls provide added flavor, or set flat for an uncolored, exceptionally-clean amplified sound. It’s your tone. Amplified. Gloss The finish used to create this guitar's lustrous gloss top, back, and sides was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultra violet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.
