The Tone Monk Ankh was designed to offer studio quality pre-amplification to your guitar signal before hitting your amplifier. Utilizing tested and matched carbon composite resistors, silver mica capacitors, and no op-amps, the Tone Monk Ankh Preamp brings a 3 dimensional feel to your tone that is meant to be left on all the time. The Input control gives you the ability to decide how hard the signal is hitting the preamp, inducing more note bloom and harmonics into the signal. The Tone control is wide range with a narrow focus to affect just the right frequencies for dialing in the “sweet spot” of sound while the Output controls the level of the preamp signal going to the amp. The Tone Monk Ankh Preamp offers up to 24db of boost over unity so the pedal can be used as a preamp as well as a boost for the front end of a tube amp.
