Built in partnership with Muse Research, the team behind the legendary Muse Receptor line, the Peavey MuseBox is a powerful synthesizer, sampler, and effects processor module like nothing else out there. Running on a custom Linux-based operating system and VST plug-in host environment called Duo Host, the MuseBox lets you call up a pair of your favorite VST plug-in with near zero-latency performance. Its SoundFinder preset structure makes browsing for the perfect patch easy, letting you search for sound by type rather than by plug-in.

What's more, the MuseBox can host more than just keyboard instruments, it works wonderfully with MIDI drums. It's also an amazing guitar and vocal effects processor, with front-panel combo inputs for easy access. The MuseBox even comes loaded with Peavey's ReValver HP guitar amplifier plug-in. Ready to go right out of the box Simply turn on the Peavey MuseBox, press the Play button, choose your sound, and you are ready go. MuseBox comes loaded with essential sounds you'll need for any gig. Installed instrument plug-ins include organs, pianos, synths, keyboards, drums, and much more. A number of plug-in effects are also preloaded and ready to go. Thanks to a state-of-the-art dedicated solid state hard drive, switching sounds is almost instantaneous. Easy and intuitive operation MuseBox's SoundFinder preset structure makes browsing for the perfect patch easy, letting you search for sound by type (the way you would in a traditional hardware synth) rather than by plug-in. When you want to edit or program instruments all you need to do is hook up a monitor and mouse directly to the Peavey MuseBox and start tweaking.
