Based on the National Newport guitar, the Eastwood Airline MAP is a vintage throwback that brings not only a vintage aesthetic, but its classic looks are complemented by a vintage tonality that is unique and refreshing. The Eastwood Airline MAP is loaded with Alnico Hot-10 humbuckers that are sparkly yet punchy and can pretty easily extend a thick humbucker tone with a bite reminiscent of P-90 's and also deliver some single-coil type sparkle for an amazing array of tones from one instrument. The body is tone chambered mahogany for great resonance and the addition of a Bigsby tremolo and roller saddle equipped bridge allow for smooth, surfy vibrato while keeping the guitar in tune song after song. The Eastwood Airline MAP is a perfect platform for today 's vintage-inspired garage rock, blues, country, and pure rock and roll.
