This versatile pedal is based on a custom pedal especially designed for J. Mascis of Dinosaur Jr. His request for two cascaded Box of Rock pedals with individual stomp switches is now a staple of his pedal board. This pedal improves upon that design. Essentially three pedals available in either of two individual channels, the Double Rock allows any combination of ZVex’s Distortron, Box of Rock or Super Hard-On. Cascade the same pedal on both channels to get the most out of your favorite, or mix them up for the ultimate expression of distortion and boost. Each channel allows independent bypass, adjustment for sub-frequencies, volume, tone and drive/volume, a toggle between distortion and clean boost. The Double Rock delivers an extraordinary range of sounds in a single effect.
