The guitar that made blues history, the 2016 version of the 1928 L-1 Blues Tribute provides powerhouse performance from a Thermally Cured Adirondack red spruce top and mahogany back and sides. The faded vintage sunburst is an elegant addition to the period-correct detailing from this era. It's an absolute blues machine.Enhanced upgrades include a "2016" engraved truss rod cover and an L.R. Baggs Lyric preamp system for ultimate plug-and-play ease. The fingerboard edge has been softened to comfortably fit the contour of the player' hand. A finer grit sandpaper and polishing compounds have been used for the high gloss finish.The premium setup utilizes state-of-the-art German-engineered Plek technology to create the finest playing surface possible. The J-29 is hand finished for the finest feel and playability, and its smoother hand rubbed and oiled fingerboard and bridges will help them last longer and maximizes the wood's natural vibrancy. Includes hardshell case.
