Ventura County Vintage guitars are built in Southern California using premium, light weight body woods and custom designed necks with ultra comfortable, hand rolled fingerboard edges. These instruments were developed from years of feedback, working with local musicians to create affordable, well made instruments that delivered on the elements of design, performance and tonal satisfaction. Designed and built by an aerospace engineer who also happens to be a performing musician in Ventura County, these instruments are crafted with aerospace quality and infused with vintage guitar soul. Ventura County Vintage offers a wide variety of choices in hardware and electronics, allowing players to customize their own treasure to taste. All Ventura County Vintage guitars sport an ultra thin, nitrocellulose lacquer, allowing the wood to breathe, much like original vintage finishes.
