Tonal Evaluation
This turquoise Telecaster is terrifyingly terrific! Alliteration aside, this serial is very even-sounding with strong midrange presence and excellent string separation. The neck pickup has round, warm bass response and some nice upper-midrange quack, and the bridge pickup has biting midrange and spicy, sizzling treble. The harmonic response is on the drier side, so you can get some beautiful even-order harmonics that sit well in a mix when you play it through a distorted or overdriven amp. Any picker seeking a punchy Tele will want to rock and/or roll 'til the cows come home with this serial!
