The second generation of Slate Media Technology's groundbreaking multi-touch DAW and software controller, the Raven MTi2 puts you in a cutting-edge sound-control cockpit with a 27" multi-touch display and killer features such as the Raven Mixer and customizable multifunction Toolbar. At the core of the Raven MTi2 is your DAW, with everything right at your fingertips. In single-touch mode, the Raven MTi2 is compatible with all major DAWs. The Raven Multi-touch Display: best of both worlds
The Raven MTi2's 27" display gives you large-format console functionality, plus all the benefits of being virtual. The best of both worlds, it boasts HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), and it's LED backlit, so it's very low on power consumption, as well as EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) emissions. The images are sharp and clear, and the brightness controls allow you to optimize the display for your environment and preferences. As a bonus, the Raven MTi2 also becomes the main display for your computer; and for even more flexibility, it's easy to configure a second monitor, should you so desire.
The Raven Mixer: your DAW, at your fingertips
Raven's multi-touch DAW control software puts you in complete command. The console-sized multi-touch Raven Mixer gives you total access to your faders, pan pots, solos, mutes, sends, automation, and even plug-in inserts. Simply adjust the controls of your plug-ins directly, as if it were physical gear. This is a revolution in DAW control! Having your DAW at your fingertips lets you directly interact with your music, and now with Faders 2.0, the virtual mixing environment integrates into the real world with unequaled multi-touch control. In Fine Mode, the faders give you up to eight times more resolution than a typical 100mm physical fader, so you can automate with unprecedented precision.
The Raven Toolbar: controls right where you need them
In Toolbar mode, the Raven Toolbar is anchored at the base of the touch display, right in front of your hands. Your DAW controls are where you want them, as well. You will find the Transport, your Edit/Mix window selector, as well as convenient tools for tracking, such as Record Looping, Create Group, Click, and Undo. On the Raven NavPad, you can use intuitive multi-touch gestures to execute commonly used functions like Scrub/Shuttle, Waveform Zoom, Track Zoom, and Track Banking. The Raven Toolbar is virtual, so it's completely customizable, letting you place the controls you want, right where you need them.
The Raven Batch Commander: boost your productivity
Slate Media Technology's Raven Batch Command System will boost your productivity, big time. As a series of preset and customizable buttons that can execute up to 1,000 key commands and mouse clicks automatically, BCS lets you create instant headphone sends, name tracks, place a drum track group on the grid, export stems, and more. BCS comes pre-programmed with 96 pre-defined commands in eight window sets. Macro commands are easy to program with QuickList, which features hundreds of predefined Pro Tools operations and Music and Post Production commands. Simply touch and hold a batch command button to edit, and you've got access to a myriad of possibilities. New in Batch Commander is the record feature, which lets you record a macro from scratch and save it to a touch button for immediate deployment any time you need it.
