Sept 1, 2014: To commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the Groovie Ghoulies, and as a tribute to our good friend Kepi Ghoulie, we are releasing a limited run of the new Airline Jetsons Model in "Ghoulie Green". Earlier this summer Kepi came for a visit to Eastwood HQ just outside Toronto. We got reminiscing about the early 90's in San Jose, CA - The Cactus Club, Asian Man Records, etc - and the continued DIY punk movement. Kepi has been playing a rare Limited Edition Airline 2P Metallic Margarita for many years, so I suggested we do a 30th Anniversary tribute. But this time, lets follow our DIY roots, strip it down to a basic punk rock machine and make it affordable to all those DIY'ers out there!
This new Eastwood release is based on the original 1960′s AIRLINE "Jetsons" model, it features an updated adjustable bridge, truss rod and the modern hi-output Valco VVDC Humbucker pickup.
