The legendary John Landgraff "Blues Box" pedal has been one of the most revered boutique guitar pedals ever built. John and Rose personally hand-built each and every Landgraff pedal from 1999 until John's passing in May of 2015. Today, Rose continues the tradition of building hand wired, point-to-point, socketed circuit boards, that permit her to voice each and every pedal, resulting in a consistency of performance impossible to achieve by most other "boutique" builders who use printed circuit boards.

This is a very low gain, clear overdrive pedal. It really enhances the snap of your strings with single coils and works well with humbuckers. At maximum gain the tone control can be very bright. With the gain all the way at maximum, the tone control needs to be set at minimum. The toggle switch gives you the clipping options. The down position uses 4X914 diodes for the most compression at max gain and the up position yields more output - less compressed overdrive. The middle position disconnects the clipping diodes.

A battery is already installed so you can plug in and play as soon as you receive it! The 9 volt adaptor jack is the standard Boss, Ibanez type like most pedals use.
