Featuring a glow-in-the-dark design surely helpful on dimly lit stages, Morley’s DJ Ashba Skeleton Wah is a pedal intended for use with electric guitar, bass, and keyboards. The wah features an electro-optical circuit, eliminating the need for potentiometers which might wear out or become noisy over time. This construction mitigates any possible noise issues that may emanate from aging pots.
The pedal utilizes a custom MQ2 inductor to provide a wah tone and sweep that is commensurate with the preferences of DJ Ashba, the pedal’s namesake—current Sixx:A.M. guitarist, and former member of Guns N’ Roses. With its True Tone buffered bypass circuit, any signal routed through the pedal will be maintained in a pristine manner over long cable runs. The pedal is housed in a cold-rolled steel construction and utilizes an internal level trim pot for the volume of the effect, as well as 1/4" input and output connections for your instrument and amplifier. It runs on a 9V battery or an optional 9 VDC power adapter.
