The 2012 714ce Rosewood Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar combines the full-bodied sound of Indian rosewood with the responsiveness of a Western Red cedar top to create a fingerstyle workhorse. This Grand Auditorium guitar will shine in any venue. Indian Rosewood/Cedar The time-honored tone of an Indian rosewood/Western red cedar pairing is a mainstay of nearly every high-end guitar builder. We source the finest quality of each wood to deliver the player all the clarity, sustain, and bass response one would expect from this classic combination. Grand Auditorium (GA) The GA is Taylor’s most versatile and popular shape, excelling at light-touch fingerstyle to full-blown strumming. Great for mic’ing and recording, the GA’s balanced mid-range and bright tone exemplify the Taylor voice. Expression System® Using proprietary pickup technology developed at Taylor, the Expression System® amplifies your guitar with an unrivaled, natural live sound. Onboard tone controls provide added flavor, or set flat for an uncolored, exceptionally-clean amplified sound. It’s your tone. Amplified. Gloss The finish used to create this guitar's lustrous gloss top, back, and sides was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultra violet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes. Available in natural finish.
