A limited-edition crossover guitar with sophisticated electronics and a superb AA-grade koa top.

The Taylor T5z brings more of an electric guitar look and feel to Taylor’s hollowbody hybrid electric-acoustic T5 series. Designed specifically with electric players in mind, the T5z features a more compact body than the original T5, along with a 12" fingerboard radius and jumbo frets, which together add up to a familiar playing experience for electric guitarists. Taylor is celebrating the debut of the new guitar with a limited pre-release of First Edition T5z Custom models. Premium First Edition features include an AA-grade koa top, an additional Spire peghead inlay, a custom First Edition label inside the guitar, and a custom First Edition plate on the guitar case. Taylor’s groundbreaking electric/acoustic T5 packs a sweeping range of amplified tones into one guitar, from shimmering acoustic chords to wailing rock solos, with a heap of tonal flavors in between. The T5’s hollowbody design features an active soundboard to produce a natural acoustic voice and sports three pickups: an acoustic body sensor, a concealed neck humbucker, and a visible bridge humbucker. Five-way switching and onboard tone controls will take you from warm, woody jazz to vintage blues to high-gain hard rock in an instant.
