Victory Amplification V10 The Baron Guitar Amplifier

Victory Amplifiers is an English amp startup founded by Martin Kidd, formerly of Cornford Amps. With the V10 "The Baron" combo amp, Kidd has devised a very unique 10-watt combo that uses two different types of output tubes--a 6L6 and an EL84--in a parallel, single-ended (Class A) output stage circuit. The output of each of these tubes can be controlled and mixed for a variety of tonal options.
This portable amp is perfect for small clubs, home, and recording situations. It features two 12AT7 preamp tubes and a 12AU7 to drive the onboard spring reverb. There's plenty of gain to be had as well as an effects loop and high-gain option. Reverb and the high-gain circuit are footswitchable. Play through a Victory and you'll hear why it's become a favorite among Guthrie Govan, one of the company's earliest endorsers.
