The Limited Edition Heavy Relic Tele Caballo Tono Ligero presents an enlightened new take on Fender’s original workhorse tone machine. The name translates to “Light Tone Horse Tele,” which perfectly fits it chambered Thinline ash body, complemented by a single “F” hole and a heavy relic lacquer finish that imparts an authentic look of hard-played wear. Further, there is indeed considerable horsepower, courtesy of a TV Jones Classic neck pickup, hand-wound “Red Hot” bridge pickup, modern wiring and stacked 250/500k volume control.Other premium features include a one-piece tinted AA flame maple neck with a 1959 large “C” profile and 9.5” fingerboard radius, jumbo frets and bone nut, three-way switch on a reverse control plate, single-ply parchment pickguard, RSD Telecaster bridge and chrome tuners with pearl buttons. Includes Custom Shop Limited neck plate, case and certificate of authenticity.
