The Music Zoo is very proud to be a Dean Gordon Guitars dealer. Dean Gordon is a new and exciting young luthier from New York City who builds his instruments at his shop in Queens. The designs are familiar, but also very futuristic and forward thinking, combining exotic tonewoods with a hand-shaped 5052 Aircraft grade aluminum lower horn that makes for a very comfortable playing experience when sitting down. This model is the Mirus, with a natural finish on an Bastogne walnut top and ash body with a quartersawn maple neck and rosewood fretboard, two Custom Wound McNelly high output humbuckers, volume and tone controls, a fixed Hipshot bridge, and Schaller locking tuners with matching gold gears. The guitar is a medium weight, with a comfortable "C"-shaped neck, with two articulate and powerful pickups to supply the tone.
