Direct Drive "B.U.S.S. edition" , has classic sounds from our Super Sport overdrive, that are tuned to match the Custom Shop internal trim settings, and a classic early Burn Unit circuit too! The toggles handle switching between Super Sport and Burn Unit sounds, and the second toggle gives you three positions of harmonics and dynamics that can be applied to either the Burn Unit or Super Sport sounds. If you have never heard our early Custom Shop pedals, The B.U.S.S. edition (Burn Unit-Super Sport) of the Direct Drive can provide overdrive and distortion sounds that range from a big full range modified stack, to a super fat fusion lead sound that only elite and famous guitar players could afford, that is, until we made the sound available for much less in 1998. And now, those much sought after sounds are back!
