A Ball Family Reserve (BFR) instrument is one that celebrates Ernie Ball Music Man’s heritage in guitar craftsmanship. The limited-run BFR St. Vincent is a supreme expression of the luthier’s art, employing the finest figured tonewoods and finishes available. With its premium roasted maple neck, distinctive mahogany body with broken-glass finish, genuine rosewood fretboard, and trio of DiMarzio Custom mini humbuckers, the BFR St. Vincent is set to deliver a one-of-a-kind playing experience.
Roasted maple neck
The roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard of the BFR St. Vincent feature 22 frets, a 25.5" scale, and 10" radius. The neck feels great in the hand, thanks to its St. Vincent profile and satin polyester backing. There’s no stickiness to slow you down, and the natural woodiness makes the instrument feel like an extension of your hand. Along with the sculpted body heel, the overall fluidity of the neck is extraordinary in all regards.

With the Ernie Ball Music Man custom floating vibrato, you’ll get in tune and stay there. The headstock is adorned with Schaller M6-IND locking tuners to make string changing fast and easy. Just insert the string, tighten the clamp screw, and tune it up to pitch. Strings won’t be wound around the shaft, so your tuning will be reliable, no matter how hard you play.
