The detail of the inlay and decoration on this CS-OM True North-16 acoustic guitar is astounding. The koa used for the back and sides boasts grain that is positively three dimensional. The large compass inlaid in the back of the instrument is made from a combination of flamed jarrah, claro walnut, waterfall bubinga, and paua pearl. The guitar's Adirondack spruce top and ebony fretboard are beautifully inlaid with abalone. And the headstock's ebony overlay is custom inlaid with a mother-of-pearl Martin and Co. logo. This is one of the most anticipated acoustic guitars to come through Sweetwater's doors.
Full-bodied, clear, and present
The CS-OM True North-16 boasts an Adirondack spruce top to give it powerful, detailed, and full projection. The Koa body accentuates the fullness of the guitar without becoming unbalanced in any frequency. And genuine bone is used for the guitar's string nut and saddle for optimal tonal transfer from the strings to the resonating surface of the instrument. Nothing was overlooked, because no matter how gorgeous this guitar is, it wouldn't be of Martin quality if it didn't sound just a good.

The CS-OM True North-16's neck is carved to Martin's Modified Low Oval profile with a Performance taper. These dimensions are well suited to naturally fill your hand without becoming too cumbersome when playing single-note passages. The neck's 1.75" nut width is a popular size that offers ideal string spacing for many players. And the guitar's OM body is extremely comfortable to play whether performing live or just strumming for the love of it.
