A.R.T. (Advanced Resonance Technology) combines the research, technology and know-how of Theo Wanne in products designed to take saxophone players to the next level. Blue A.R.T. material is designed to surpass hard rubber in terms of resonance, tone and response. The SHIVA is designed for players desiring a sound with a lot of edge, but maintains a huge core, rich in harmonics. Choose size from dropdown. Inspired by the popular MANTRA mouthpiece, the SHIVA takes the MANTRAs innovative design and brings it to players accustomed to a Guardala, Dukoff or Berg Larsen style of mouthpiece. It has a combination roll-over and step baffle, leading in to Theo Wannes proprietary œshark-gill chamber. These features give the mouthpiece a rich, full sound with plenty of edge and projection, making it ideally suited for Rock n Roll, R&B or any situation where the player may require some extra carrying power. Theo Wanne's new Blue ART material is a proprietary material never before used in mouthpiece manufacturing. It was discovered through the testing of materials used in Aerospace and Medical manufacturing, and was found to be extremely resonant, rich sounding and more responsive than Hard Rubber. In addition to these sound characteristics, this new material is also non-porous and sterile, making it safer to use and easier to clean.
