And not only does the KT4 electronic drum kit include a DW hi-hat peal, the 12" hi-hats use real hi-hat pedal mechanics to provide you with amazingly realistic feel.

Loaded with 780 high-quality drum and percussion sounds, the updated electronic percussion controller included in the KT4 makes KAT Percussion digital drums a better fit than ever for modern drummers. These sounds include drums, cymbals, effects, and more, spanning genres from rock and pop to world and EDM. What's more, you can augment these sounds with effects and other processing. There are 142 play-along tracks onboard as well, plus conventional click tracks and metronomes, and you can record your own performances via the integrated 7-track sequencer.
Advanced pads and cymbals provide refreshingly realistic feel
Between its 11 drum pads, reinvented kick pad, and set of electronic cymbals, the KT4 offers you an excellent range of expression like no KAT Percussion drum set before. For starters, the snare and three tom pads are all KAT's 11" dual zone drum pads, whose firm rebound is a pleasure to play. A revised kick drum design incorporates an 8" Mylar drumhead. There's also a DW hi-hat pedal included in this kit, which complements the 2-part hi-hat cymbals perfectly, in addition to three other 3-zone cymbals, all of which can be choked. And with an extra input for an additional drum pad, you can easily turn your KT4 into a 5-piece kit.

Whether you're practicing at home, meeting up with the band, gigging out, or laying down tracks in the studio, the KAT Percussion KT4 electronic drum kit has a lot to offer. For starters, the kit is remarkably quiet, and while the sound is fully immersive when you plug in a set of headphones, you won't have to worry about bothering your family when you rock out in the middle of the night. If you feel like jamming along to your favorite tunes, just plug in your personal media player and go nuts. That aux input is also super handy if you're laying down tracks in your DAW, and USB 3.0 MIDI I/O makes studio work a breeze. Need to travel to practice or a gig? No worries. The KT4's curved chrome rack and Velcro cable management system makes setup fast and easy, and the whole kit breaks down small enough to fit comfortably in a compact car.
