The DOD Boneshaker distortion pedal serves up an amazingly vast array of distortion and overdrive tones, courtesy of a custom analog circuit designed by Black Arts Toneworks. Not matter what type of guitar and amplifier you play, you'll be able to use the Boneshaker's 3-band parametric EQ to fine-tune your tone until you've reached the perfect balance of power, depth and bite. Guitarists at Sweetwater know that every gig and recording session is different, and the DOD Boneshaker's built-in EQ makes it easy to dial in the right distortion tone fast.
Sonic versatility from a 3-band EQ and Depth control
Sometimes your tone needs just a subtle tweak to fit in the mix just right, whether you're playing live onstage or recording in your studio. Use the DOD Boneshaker's 3-band EQ to boost mids, carve out space for the bass player, add some top end bite, or whatever other tonal alterations you need. And in case you were wondering about the Depth knob, its effect is similar to the Resonance control on some amplifiers. It gives you more control over your tone's low frequency characteristics, and sounds especially awesome with low-tuned guitars.
