Empress Effects Buffer Plus Stereo
The Stereo Buffer+ seeks to be the last word in I/O interfaces for your pedalboard, no matter how gargantuan the board or the routing task.
Borrowing from the standard Buffer+, the Stereo features two inputs, each with input padding and noise filtering, as well as two loop inputs and outputs and a footswitchable boost. Also present is the input loading knob and tuner out.
However, the Stereo Buffer+ adds many new features, such as an external switch, and tuner mute. A handy stomp function toggle changes the footswitch from a boost activator to an A/B switch or an A/Y switch, allowing players to access either loop separately or together. The external switch option turns the boost on and off even with the stomp function switch is not set to activate it.
The output is transformer-isolated in order to avoid ground loops in complicated applications. When running into two separate amps, the polarity toggle can eliminate phase issues that plague stetero users. Each input (and main out) contains a metering LED to avoid clipping.
